Sold Out One Piece Yacht Party Kicks off Anime NYC in Style

Unwind, relax, and set sail on an adventure to find the One Piece, did we find it? We can not diclose, is it real? Come to a Thats Dope Entertainment Event to find out!
On Friday August 23 2024 Thats Dope Entertainment, in collaboration with GirlTaku, threw a Sold Out One Piece Yacht Party that was one for the books. The Party cruised across the New York coast line with a radiant sunset in the bakround as it passed by the Statue of Liberty and other beautiful sights.

This was no ordinary party and the programming was immaculate filled with a live DJ set from DJ Taylor Senpai, Live rap performance from influencer Billy Han, The worlds first One Piece Magic show by JoshPele Magic, a One Piece Scavenger Hunt hosted by Senpai Gabe, a One Piece Fashion show hosted by Girltaku and more.
As the boat cruised, fans, friends, and partiers set sail embarking on an adventure filled with joy, laughs, amazement, suprise, wonder and long lasting memories.
Founder and President of That’s Dope Entertainment Godswill Ugwa Jr is no stranger to throwing unique anime parties, after a successful cruise in Los Angelos he decided to transfer the party to the east coast in preparation for Anime NYC and the event surely surpassed all expectations.
As guests made their way through the Yacht, there was One Piece decor surrounding the area with a majority of the attendees all in Cosplay. There was not a frown in sight as guests were constantly laughing, dancing, smiling, and hunting for the one piece.
DJ Taylor Senpai started the night strong playing a variety of iconic songs ranging from Anime to Pop, leading to the other amazing programming to follow.

Firsty, we began the night with Celebrity Magician and Mentalist JoshPele Magic who, in collaboration with Godswill, formed the worlds very first One Piece themed magic show as he cosplayed as Gear 5 Luffy and performed a a magical act of mind reading and illusions in character while referencing the cosplay of his spectators that came up onto the stage. This was certainly a pleasant suprise for guests as they were left astounded and excited.

The event continued as a One Piece Scavenger Hunt began. This was a challenge combining quick thinking, One Piece knowledge, and Trivia where the competitors were required to answer various one piece trivia questions and then race to be the first to discover the answers to the questions, find them on the ship, and be the first to deliver them to the judges. The race was tight and came to a close finish where ultimately the winner ended up winning by one question.
The Party was only getting started as later on Girtaku hosted their One Piece Fashion Show where the winners were rewarded versions of Manga and a Gear 5 luffy Funko Pop as a first place prize. The Fashion displayed a variety of characters from various arcs in the show, it was a very close fashion show to judge but in the end every contestant walked in with style and walked out with big smiles and lasting memories.

Even after great tunes, a thrilling performance by Billy Han, a captivating show by JoshPele Magic, a competitive scavenger hunt, and a One Piece Fashion Show, guests were left with one more bonus as every attendee was given a One Piece Goodie bag to take home.
